Changing your backup pad regulary helps to keep your Mirka DEROS in tip top condition. You will need the wrench which was supplied with the Mirka DEROS.
- Unplug the Mirka DEROS, so there is no power to the machine.
- Turn the sander onto it's back, so that the lever is in the base of your hand.
- Slide the wrench onto the locking nut between the backup pad and the machine.
- While holding the machine and the wrench, rotate the backup pad anti-clockwise.
